On
June 14,
2008,
Lincoln
Homestead
State Park will host the wedding
anniversary of President Abraham Lincoln's
parents, Thomas Lincoln and Nancy Hanks.
Activities are planned for people of all ages to enjoy
throughout the day and into the evening. The
activities during the day are free to those who attend. There will be fees for
parking, and for the reception and ball held
that evening. For more

The
event is sponsored by the Springfield/Washington
County Chamber of Commerce, the Kentucky
Parks Department, and the Kentucky Historical
Society. Because of all the expenses that
are required to make this event happen, the Lincoln/Hanks
Bicentennial Wedding Committee would appreciate any
